DISCOUNT for this weekend 18/19th March. We can offer spa weekends in this beautiful C16th house full of original character & landscaped grounds & heated outdoor pool (June to Sept). Therapists work in beautiful surroundings in an area of outstanding beauty. In summer, you can have a massage around the pool, in the wild meadow, or in dedicated therapy rooms. Or forget the Spa and come for a stay. Mid week - 3 night min, or 2 night weekend stays. The house itself is a joy, over 350 years old with lots of original features. A spacious Orangery overlooking the Parterre and water feature (can be a bit chilly in Winter) where there is an option for you to be served an evening meal. The Parterre is a miniature version of the Parterre at Tatton Park. This room can be used as a meditation room, craft room or for cocktails. Guests (up to 10 sleeping over, plus the option of day guests) will enjoy their stay in a character house (with lots of mod cons), fabulous bathrooms and 5 bedrooms, including 2 master bedrooms with en-suites. A manager is on hand to ensure your stay goes smoothly and to ensure that you have a great time. The Therapists generally attend on Saturday, although this is flexible. You will have a private garden to the front and the Parterre and swimming pool area are all for your private use. The rest of the gardens are shared with the owners. Guests can access all garden areas except around the separate lodge house by the gate. Children are not allowed to play in the parterre, but do have access to over 3 acres of grounds. The Owner/Manager is available if needed during your stay. A home shopping service is recommended (no charge) which will allow you to make the most of your time at Frog Corner. You shop online, it is delivered to Frog Corner and packed away for you before you arrive. An onsite Catering option is available for a 3 course meal on one of your evening meals during your stay, sample menu’s can be provided on request and are flexible. Fantastic place, peaceful and nestled amongst the Chiltern Hills, in an area of ‘Outstanding Natural Beauty’. There are lots of lovely walks from the house. There is a C16th thatched pub and restaurant within a 5 min walking distance, and more pubs in Studham. The Zoo is a 2 minute walk from the house and you can hear the antique steam train go choo choo every so often at weekends. The nearest railway station is Tring (on the line from Euston to Milton Keynes) and this is @15 mins drive. Luton Parkway and Harpenden are both reasonably close. Luton Airport is @25 min drive. The Glo therapist will advise on the day whether this is possible.
