The Chapel, Cirencester, Cotswolds
The Old Chapel is a unique detached luxurious converted Chapel in the heart of the Cotswolds. It is situated on a quiet lane in the lovely idyllic rural village of North Cerney. A short walk away is The Bathurst Arms, great for eating & drinking at while overlooking the River Churn. Cerney House Gardens described as a "romantic secret place" is nearby. Cirencester is less than 5 miles away as are many other famous Cotswold Villages. The Regency town of Cheltenham is just over 12 miles away. The former 19th century Chapel has been beautifully converted in a luxury Scandi Style look home with classic but modern touches with plenty of space. Front Double doors open into a high, airy sitting room and dining area with modern wood burner and a spiral staircase rising to a mezzanine space on the first floor. Beyond is a kitchen with stylish modern fittings, breakfast bar and a large south facing kitchen window plus a separate utility room to the left. On the lower ground floor there is a Master Bedroom with Four Poster bed and a second good sized double bedroom. Each bedroom has a large built in cupboard with storage and hanger space. The third bedroom is on the upper mezzanine. The family bathroom is also on this level. You will have the entire property to yourself. There is normally plenty of street parking right outside the front of the property. There are no immediate neighbours although everyone in the village is very friendly and the village pub a short walk down the road is locally famous. The whole property has just been converted from a chapel and has a very modern kitchen with all amenities and a separate utility room with washing machine. We have a key code box where we can leave a key if required. We can be called to answer any questions if needed. The village has its own pub, The Bathurst Arms plus Cerney House Gardens. Chedworth Roman Villa (NT) plus Colesbourne Park of snow drop fame are very close. Villages of Northleach, Stow On The Wold and Morton In Marsh are easily accessible via the Fosse Way. Burford and the Cotswold Wild Life park are nearby. Many local walks are available with A4 maps printed in the information booklet. There are a two booklets inside, one with many local attraction details and helpful information on the surrounding area and another with instructions on the appliances in the Chapel.
