Wifi, smart-tv, Chromecast, Bose BT speaker and a large gas-BBQ The house is on a quiet dead end street, mostly visited by people out for a walk from the old town and harbour and onwards to the beach area. The surroundings are therefore peaceful and the great view of the ocean can be enjoyed in any weather. The sunsets are particular bright and stunning over the harbour. Despite the quiet location the house is within the city limits and just a 10 min walk from the center square and harbour. The fenced garden faces south and is completely private away from the street, so the sun can be enjoyed throughout the day. There is wifi and ethernet outlets throughout the house, for the fiber optic 100/100 connection and an office desk. For entertainment on a cloudy day there is a PS3, Wii, various boardgames, children toys, and Chromecast on the LG smart TV. The kitchen caters a Quooker for boiling water, Nespresso machine, double waffle iron, hand blender, 2 ovens where one is combined micro/conventional, 2 fridges, 1 freezer and 1 wine fridge. The house is a low energy house with floor heat in all rooms, heated with green energy from a heat pump. The whole house is at your disposal. The house is right next to “Strandbakkerne”, a recreational area just east of the harbour, with green hills and beach with lifeguard service in the summer. The shallow waters makes the beach children friendly and the adjacent green area and hills is for activities and from here it connects via walking paths to the lighthouse “Nakkehoved Fyr”. 50m up the street there is SUP Board rental and also Power Yoga classes, and then 50m the other way is the waterfront. Within an 800m radius there are 5 supermarkets for groceries, and much of everything else that Gilleleje offers such as numerous cafés, restaurants, bars, movie theatre, tennisclub and the entire harbour area etc. etc. There is parking space for 2 cars on the property, and if more parking space is required then there is public parking 50m from the house in connection with “Strandbakkerne”. The Train station is a 10min walk and much of everything is within a 10min walk. There are also some bikes at the house that you are welcome to use. Gilleleje is surrounded by beautiful and dramatic nature. The view of the Kattegat is breathtaking from the steep slopes near Gilbjerg Hoved, where Søren Kierkegaard once strolled his way to momentous philosophical ideas.
