The unit can accommodate 2 guests and comprises of 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, 1 bathroom (shower), an open plan kitchen and living area , a rustic braai lapa and patio for private use. The kitchen is fully equipped. The unit is spotless clean, private and cosy. An in house complimentary self service breakfast starter pack consisting of Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk and breakfast biscuits is provided. Full DSTV , uncapped WiFi and board games are available at no extra costs. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and the living room has a comfy lounge suite. The kitchen/lounge area has direct access through the sliding door to the adjacent braai lapa. The patio flows from the lapa area. The unit has lovely shore break and deep sea views from the lapa, patio, kitchen and lounge. If you love a comfortable and cosy space away from the hustle and bustle of city life but also close enough to visit interesting places , restaurants and beaches, spending time outdoors, listen to the sound of the waves, chirping of birds in the morning and occasionally spot dolphins, whales and naughty monkeys, this is the place for you. The village is 9km from the King Shaka Int Airport, 8 km from Ballito and 34 km from Durban. The property is 2.1 km from the famous Beach Bums family Restaurant on the Beach and 1 km from Spice Restaurant on the beach. A fuel station with an Express Spar and take-away is in close proximity. Larger shops are located in Ballito. The closest large shop is 7 km from the property. The property has amazing sea views . Whales and dolphins can be spotted occasionally by a sharp eye, Naughty monkeys are often visiting , the sound of the waves at night and chirping of birds in the morning is what is making this space so attractive. The property is approx 9 km from the King Shaka Int airport which provides car rental and airport transportation services. Other transportation services ie Uber taxi services also serves the area. The unit is unfortunately not suitable for children under 1 year . Children of the ages 1 - 10 accompanying by their parents will be accommodated to stay for free only on prior arrangement. Children will have to sleep on mattresses in the living room/kitchen area as there are no extra beds or the space available for extra beds. A smaller mattress for kids between 1 and 4/5 can be provided to fit in the bedroom. A camp cot is also available for the very young ones on request. Children above the ages of 10 will be charged pro - rata. Senior citizens of the ages of 70 and above to take note that 12 non- slippery steps are leading down to the flat and two steps leading into the bedroom. Guests flying in and using airport transportation to their destination please note that (Hidden by Airbnb) mapping is not correct and might take you to the back of the house in Jacaranda ave instead of the front in Gardenia Crescent Guests are advised to get in touch with their hosts soon after arrival at the airport for clearer instructions on how to comfortably reach their destination. A vehicle GPS however will bring guests straight to their destination.
