THE SMALL CABIN (#3) at Coy & Wilma's Campsites + Cabins - Rend Lake Cabin

The small cabin has always been a small cabin at the campground. 30 yrs ago this was a modest and humble cabin above the general store and not much has changed. Of course the general store has since been turned into two other cabins, but we have not done much to this cabin. It screams 1970’s hunting and fishing cabin and we wanted to keep it that way. We did update the AC/Heat, added a flat screen tv, installed new floors and threw some paint on the walls to make it more comfortable, but we didn’t do much else. When yellow counter-tops are back in style, this cabin will likely be the coolest we have. It is our least expensive cabin, and it is a great option for any single, couple or even trio visiting the lake. The small cabin is on the second level so it is not right for guests who don’t want to climb stairs. If you don’t mind the stairs you will like the little deck it has overlooking our fishing pond. The dining table/chairs, recliners, and small sofa sleeper are “vintage”. 2 can sleep on the queen bed in the bedroom (which is slightly open to the main room) and 1 or 2 small people could fit on the full-sized sofa sleeper. Long-term renters welcome: Number of overnight guests strictly limited to 3, unless otherwise authorized. Check-in time is 3 pm CST. Check-out time is 11:00 am CST. 2 night minimum. 3 night minimum on all holidays. NO WIFI or internet is provided. Absolutely NO smoking in cabin. NO pets allowed. NO linens are provided and NO daily maid service is provided. Guests must bring sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, soap, and other toiletries. This is a second floor unit with approximately 20 stairs to enter the unit. The cabin is NOT childproof and not suitable for infants and toddlers. *Stays longer than one month will be assessed for electricity on the 26th of each month.
