Cosy bungalow with a big garden in Hornburg (Harz)

Our holiday bungalow has a terrace and shared use of the garden and garden facilities including a BBQ area, swings, slides, a trampoline and a sandpit for children. Chickens and rabbits run freely in a fenced-off area and horses can be seen next door. The bungalow is approximately 70m² and consists of a bathroom with shower, a double bedroom, a single bedroom, a lounge/diner and a small kitchen. There is on-site private parking for several cars and the grounds are protected by CCTV. We have a BBQ area, a pond with fish and frogs, a play area with a trampoline for kids and an area with a few chickens and rabbits that love to be stoked. You have the whole house and terrace to yourself. The large garden is shared with us. We will be available throughout your holiday. We speak English and German, use (Hidden by Airbnb) and will be very close in case you need us. The small half-timbered town of Hornburg lies in the northern Harz foothills, nestled in the lovely Ilsetal valley, between Braunschweig and Bad Harzburg. It originated around (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) years ago and is the birthplace of Pope Clement II. With the listed medieval old town and almost 400 half-timbered houses, Hornburg is one of the most beautiful small towns in northern Germany. There is a bus stop just a 3 minute walk away. We are next to a cycle path, which will take you all the way to Rome, or just around the corner :-) We are just a 5 minutes' drive from the city of Schladen and a 7 minutes' drive to the motorway taking you further into the Harz or towards Braunschweig. Very close by there is a supermarket, an open-air swimming pool, mini golf, a chemist, ice-cream parlours, restaurants (Italian, Greek, German...).
