The most beautiful time to visit is no doubt the Advent and Christmas period. The Christmas market is one of the most beautiful in Germany. Take a couple of extra days of holiday and enjoy this romantic time here. Switch off, or go on a lovely winter walk on Pöhlberg. There is a lot to see and do in this beautiful town. You can visit the “Dream Factory”, the St. Annen Church, the Frohnauer Hammer or the three mines. There is a museum with model trains for children, or you can go on a ride with the narrow-gauge railway. The surroundings are mountainous and varied, therefore suitable for those who like hiking but also want to be near town. The owners have an ice skating rink on the market square. Apart from skiing you can also enjoy other winter sports nearby. If you are planning a trip and are looking for pleasant accommodation for your winter holiday, then this is just the right place for you. A small group of motorbikers (3-4 people) is also welcome. Motorbikes can be parked in a garage. Only one dog is allowed on request.
