Cozy Mancos Guest Suite near Mesa Verde

If you are looking for a quite relaxing space that is comfortable, this is the space for you. This guest suite is attached to our home. We live at the edge of town in a quiet neighborhood. There is an off leash dog park directly behind our home in easy walking distance. The Mancos River runs through it. We are in walking distance to downtown Mancos, which offers 4 art galleries, great eating and entertainment. The space is a cozy suite, one room offering a king size bed and a tv, the other a sitting area and kitchenette. The kitchenette offers a mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, sink and electric tea kettle for boiling water. There is no stove. We have no cable, but the tv has a roku stick so you may access your Netflix, and Amazon accounts to watch movies. It is important to note that our home and our guest suite do share walls, and are attached to one another. The guest suite has a private entrance, private bathroom, and it’s own parking. We do allow dogs. There is a $25 fee per dog. Please let me know if you are bringing your dog(s) and I will send you a request to pay the pet fee. There is a small patio and sitting area at the entrance to the suite where guests can relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It offers shade in the late afternoon. Smokers may smoke here, no smoking inside the suite please. Dogs may utilize the front yard, there is no fence, however we live on a dirt road that does not have heavy traffic. Dog owners please clean up after their pets. Front yard landscaping is in progress. I am available by text for questions or concerns. I am on site a majority of the time as our home is directly connected( but separate space) to our guest suite. I work on our property, I own a hair salon that is located on premises. I work by appointment, and guests should expect clients to be coming and going during the day. The salon is also a completely separate space and guests would only encounter hair clients in our driveway,( which is visible if you are sitting on patio). I am hands off for check in, we provide lock box with keys. We like to give our guests privacy and space to have their experience, and I am usually on site and of course available to help if needed. Our place is within walking distance to downtown Mancos. Mancos has a local coffee house that offers delicious coffee, sweets, and sandwiches on the go. Coffee from Fahrenheit Coffee is provided in suite with pour over coffee option if you prefer to stay in. Downtown Mancos is easily accessible by car or walking( about 5 min walk). Air bnb patrons have their own parking area off street, located directly in front of sidewalk leading to front door( guest suite entrance). There is a small elm tree that provides some shade in the afternoons. We highly recommend checking out our quaint little town. Art galleries, yummy food and coffee options, live music often, cidery, brewery, marijuana dispensaries.....Mancos offers a great deal of access points to The San Juan National Forest. Reminder, please no smoking in the guest suite, there is a space provided on outside patio, with comfortable seating. Mancos is a great half way point for Durango and Telluride.
