Number 9 Ard Croine is smart, clean end of terrace cottage on the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way. Situated within walking distance to Main Street, Dungloe, Co. Donegal, the property enjoy sea views over Dungloe Bay. The house sleeps up to 6 people by one large double room, one twin and one small double. It is the perfect base for touring the area or just relaxing by the log burning stove. There is a 3 night minimum stay. Cuddly pets welcome! The house is a specious end of terrace close to Main Street, Dungloe. It is newly refurbished in a modern, yet country style with nautical touches. The heart of any Irish home is the kitchen-diner and Ard Crione is no different! The log burner is the centrepiece of the room - who doesn't love the smell of turf?! Modern kitchen units and a large family dining table, make this the hub of the house. The kitchen is stocked with all the basic equipment you'll need for simple meals. The living room has large, comfy reclining sofas for you to relax, read a book or watch the flat-screen TV. DVD player available too. The three bedrooms are light, airy and clean. The master has a kingsize bed, built in wardrobes and a TV with Freesat channels. The front twin has wonderful sea views over the bay and to Arannmore Island. The small double room also enjoys these views. Please note, the small double, is quite small but enough for two adults. The bathroom is modern and clean with a shower, sink and toilet. Please note that there is no bath this property and that the water pressure is medium in the area. The rear garden is private and enclosed with a large, family picnic bench. There is parking for two cars at the from of the property and a spacious garden to the read. The house is an end of terrace and the neighbours are friendly and very easy-going. You have access to the whole house and garden, the shed will be locked. 9 Ard Croine is our holiday home. This house is the perfect location to base yourself when touring the area. It is walking distance to Dungloe Main Street making evenings out easy. It is a 5 minute drive to the beautiful Maghery beach and 20 minutes to the foot of the stunning Mount Errigal. Dungloe is a traditional but busy town with all the amenities you will need. The town attracts many tourists every July and August when the Mary From Dungloe International Festival takes place. It was founded in the 1960s and it has been frequented by many special guests over the years including Daniel O'Donnell, Cliff Richard, Gay Byrne and Sharon Shannon. The picturesque Dungloe Bay and surrounding hills have proved very popular with visitors and have enabled Dungloe to sustain a healthy tourism industry. The house is an end of terrace in residential area. All bars and cafes in Dungloe had numbers for local taxis but you won't need one to get to the cottage. There are local buses to Dublin, Belfast and Letterkenny. Carrickfinn Donegal Airport is a 25 minute drive. The neighbours in this residential area are really friendly and love to welcome visitors. Please be considerate of noise after 10.00pm and avoid feeding the local pets. WiFi - there is none! Talk to each other instead ;-) On a serious note, WIFI is very expensive in this area. However, there is free wifi in all restaurants in the town, just ask.
