Bright house with view of Castle Hill

Stone built Victorian house with a mix of period and contemporary features and all the comforts of a modern home including well appointed Kitchen you can feel at home in. Situated on a quiet street overlooking the bowling green with views to Castle Hill and Emley Moor. There is ample free parking directly outside the house. Close to the town centre & University (5 mins drive) as well as easy access to the countryside or motorway. Beautiful Greenhead Park is just over 10mins Walk away Built in 1890, the Ground floor living room with dining table, sofa, & projector for film nights! The Kitchen has a gas hob, fan oven & grill, separate fridge & freezer and Microwave. There are all the pots, pans and utensils you need to cook an excellent meal. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and the bathroom. In the main bedroom there is a double bed and a wardrobe; the Children's bedroom has one bunk bed and one child's bed (both lenght 160cm). Bathroom has a big corner bath with rain shower. Please note you have to take a step to get in and out of the bath, please see photos. The washer-dryer is in the basement. This property is our own home and we would love to share it while we are away. Guests can have access to all the rooms of the house and the patio at the back of the house. All our personal belongings will be stored away so you have full use of the house & cupboards, etc. as if it were your own. You can reach at any time by mobile or through Airbnb should you need anything during your stay. The house is situated on a quiet street, opposite a village bowling green. It is within walking distance of the train station, university, town centre (all aprox. 25 minutes) or the beautiful Greenhead Park (10+ minutes). There is a bus stop less than 5 mins away or a Taxi to the town centre should be under £5. The nearest bus stop is only a 5 minutes walk away. You can also easily reach the canal towpath (on bike or foot) which can take you to either the town centre or lovely West Yorkshire villages Slaithwaite and Marsden. There is no TV at the house, however there is a projector with internet TV and a good WiFi network is available. Also please note the children's beds are only 160 cm long and not suitable for adults to sleep on.
