PANORAMIC SEA VIEWS AND AWESOME SUNSETS. Close to wonderful beaches and amenities. Beautiful countryside, just a 10 minute walk from the coast path and moorland. Relaxing rear garden that faces West towards the ocean. Quiet, residential cul de sac, with parking and easy access to pubs, shops, etc. We are close to Sennen, Lands End, Porthcurno, St Ives, Penzance and Mousehole. This is a modern, semi detached house with beautiful views across the fields to the Atlantic Ocean. The house is situated in a quiet cul de sac. There is good WIFI. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 with double beds (and John Lewis mattresses topped with king-size duvets) and a small room with two small single sized bunk-beds. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and a bath with shower over. On the ground floor there is a comfortable, sunny lounge with views to the sea and a kitchen / diner which has recently been updated with modern appliances. The lounge has sofas, and a TV connected to a DVD player. The rear garden is accessed via the lounge and is mostly lawn; this is a lovely spot to sit and watch the spectacular sunsets. We have provided a BBQ and picnic table for some outside dining. The house is heated by electric storage and panel heaters. There is also a cosy, wood-burner style electric heater in the lounge. Our cleaners ask that you strip the beds and place all your bedding (without turning duvets covers inside out) and towels in the laundry bags provided. This is so the laundry can be easily collected and stored in isolation before being professionally cleaned. Please put all your rubbish in the wheelie bin and take recycling to the car parks in St Just, Pendeen or Sainsburys in Penzance. Thank you and we hope you have an enjoyable holiday. We are easily contactable if you need any assistance. Guests have full and private use of the house. There is off-road parking on the drive and extra parking in the cul-de-sac for additional vehicles. Guests have sole access to the property which is provided with clean linen and towels at no extra cost. We live locally and are easily contactable if needed. There is plenty of cliff top walking from the house with amazing scenery. The surrounding area has recently been classed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Portheras Beach is a charming 30 min stroll away. Sennen Cove; famous surfing beach is 5 miles West. The house is a short walk to Levant Mine ('Bal Levant', operated by the National Trust) and houses one of the oldest working beam engines in Cornwall. This was the setting of Tressider's Rolling Mill in the Poldark TV series. Geevor Mine, the last working tin mine in the area (now a heritage Museum and cafe) is about a mile away. Botallack Mine, Crown's Section and West Wheal Owles mine, also used as settings in 'Poldark', are all within walking distance. The Pendeen Lighthouse is a little further, also within walking distance. Pretty much everything you need is within walking distance. The house is in a convenient location surrounded by countryside. The village has 3 pubs; the nearest is 5 mins walk away. There is also a coffee shop, Post Office, 2 restaurants, a Fish and Chip shop, a small store that sells most things, and a Farmer's Market held the first and third Saturday of every month. Other nearby attractions: The harbour town of St Ives with the Tate, and Barbara Hepworth Museum are definitely worth a visit. Watch a play at the open air, cliff top Minack Theatre and enjoy Porthcurno's sandy beach below. Penlee House Museum in Penzance, features work from the famous ‘Newlyn School’ and Lamorna group of artists. Explore Trengwainton Gardens at Madron and experience the magical 'St Michael’s Mount' in Mount’s Bay. Visit the picturesque, tiny fishing village of Mousehole. There is a local bus service from Pendeen to Penzance and most nearby villages. The closest mainline station is Penzance (with direct connection to London Paddington). The closest airport is Newquay. There is also an open top bus that stops in the village and takes you to local towns. This is a semi detached, modern house in a quiet cul de sac. At the front of the property there is a small garden and at the rear of the property there is bigger, private garden. Behind the rear garden there are fields where a few goats, sheep, pigs and hens roam. In the Winter you may spot a sheep wearing a home made knitted jumper!
