Lovely apartment on a former farm in open countryside. Open plan living, cosy bedroom with double bed. Shower room. The steps upto this flat are steep and narrow. PARKING FOR ONE CAR ONLY For those of you with keen eyesight, you will notice that there is a flight of steps up to the apartment. These are original to the building and, as such, some of you may find them a little steeper than modern stairs. For this reason this apartment is not suitable for those with mobility issues. Please do not sleep on the additional sofa. There is absolutely no need to rearrange the furniture. Off road parking in enclosed yard for one car. Steps up to the apartment. The steps are steep and narrow. If you have mobility issues do not book. If you do book and find the steps steep and narrow, do not complain about them. The gates must be closed after use. Local information and guides are provided within the property, but I am available to help if needed. This is a very rural property. It has been located in the same rural position since it was built over a hundred years ago. If the location doesn’t suit you, it is neither the property’s nor my fault. It is where it is and cannot be moved. Please do not complain about it’s location. It is a beautiful RURAL location, there are no amenities within 1.5 miles. In reality you need a car to get here. Taxis are expensive. Rail stations at Melton Mowbray, Grantham, Loughborough and Leicester. Hail-and-Ride bus hourly at end of lane, from Loughborough to Grantham via Melton Mowbray. A46 easily accessible, good access to M1 and A1 East Midlands Airport 20mins by car, Birmingham Airport about an hour by car This is a rural property. We have no neighbours. There is no other building within half a mile. We have good road access for getting around, but the nearest village is 1.5 miles away and wi-if is unpredictable. There is usually a good mobile signal, and if you have a BT account, there is a wifi hotspot that you can log on to. In reality, you need to use your mobile data to stand any chance of internet access. You will grow old before you’re able to download or stream anything. I pay for the best service available to us, I’m sorry that I am unable to improve it, but it’s beyond my control. You will be sent detailed directions for your arrival. They work very well if read. The TV is small, but who comes on holiday to watch TV? We do not have satellite, cable or any other method of watching TV than via the mast.
