The Hayloft. Self contained Accommodation

Enjoy a stay in our beautiful converted Hayloft. Entrance is at ground level through your storage area and boot room. A short, steep wooden staircase leads to the rooms above with their wonderful beams and vaulted ceilings. With views over the village green, and its own private little walled garden, The Hayloft provides the perfect place to unwind. The beautiful Essex and Suffolk countryside is on your doorstep, with its many historic towns, villages, pubs and footpaths for you to explore. A welcome basket of breakfast goodies ( including free range eggs from our hens) will be waiting for you. The fully equipped kitchen also has a selection of teas and coffee for your use. All bedlinen and towels are provided together with essential toiletries. There are two bicycles for your use and a selection of guides and OS maps of the surrounding area. The Hayloft is a separate building next door to our house. I will be there to welcome you and make sure you feel at home. I will be on hand to answer any questions throughout your stay but will not intrude on your privacy. There is a village pub within a 3 minute walk of The Hayloft. They have a restaurant where many of the dishes on offer are home-made, traditional English fayre, often using local ingredients. The Hayloft is in a rural village without public transport. A car is essential for arrival and getting around. Safe off road parking is available directly outside the property. Bikes are provided for you to explore the local area.
