The Orchard - Stokesley hideaway

Secluded 4 bedroom detached house giving a rural feel yet with all the amenities of the High Street right on the doorstep. Dedicated games room w/poole table to keep the kids entertained. Large enclosed front and rear garden, perfect for kids and pets. Rear south-facing patio with separate BBQ area. Cozy farmhouse-style accommodation consisting of combined living/dining area with real fire, separate games room (c/w dart board and pool table) and fulling fitted kitchen (gas hob, fan oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & separate drier). Upstairs are 4 upstairs bedrooms: 1 with super-king bed, 1 with 3/4 bed (may be a bit cramped for 2 adults) and 2 with single beds. All have plenty of wardrobe and draw space. Also upstairs is the communal family bathroom with bath & separate shower. The house also has full gas central heating, complementary WiFi, and coal is supplied for the fire. Fresh bedding and towels are supplied for your use and can be restocked/laundered on a weekly basis for longer stays at an additional charge. Periodic cleaning services can also be arranged for longer stays, also at an additional charge The whole house and gardens are available to use/enjoy. There are Freeview TV/DVD players in all rooms except the kitchen and 3rd bedroom and my old CD-HiFi systems c/w all my original CD's and DVDs are available for your enjoyment (please take care of them as you would your own). The games room has a pool table and dart board plus a selection of boxed/board games to use. Outside is a rear patio with garden furniture as well as a separate BBQ area. I am available via the App to answer any questions or issues the guests may have. Jane from Rooms Laundry is the main contact for housekeeping and urgent local issues on (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Numerous pubs, restaurants and takeaways are within easy walking distance along with numerous coffee shops. There are also many country pubs a short drive away which offer good food and real ales. The High Street has a varied selection of banks, shops and caters for almost anything you may need from local butchers to hair salons. The local Coop is open to 10 pm every night with a larger Super Store at the opposite end of the High St. There is a regular town market every Friday as well as a monthly Farmer's Market. The High Street is literally on your doorstep, so no need to drive to the shops etc. There is a bus service to neighbouring towns, but no rail service. There is no vehicle access to the property as it is set back off West Green down a short footpath. Free on-street parking is available around the Green only a short distance away form the front gate. Refuse collection is performed by a Private Contractor and guests are expected to place the bin out on West Green the evening before (currently Monday) There is a council play/skate park backing on to the property and can be a bit noisy at weekends and school holidays. In the 3rd week of September a funfair sets up on the High Street, culminating with the annual Stokesley Agricultural Show, however vehicle access to the corner of the Green is still possible
