Luxurious cottage with garden & courtyard, in the unspoilt village of Orford on the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The house is v. close to Orford Quay and within sight of the church & castle, not to mention the fabulous Pump Street Bakery! It sleeps 6 and is perfect for families. The house is light & airy, and was recently converted to a high standard, keeping many period features. It is tastefully furnished and the large, modern kitchen is very well equipped. There are two log burning stoves, and panel heaters to keep the house cosy in winter. There are three bedrooms, all with exposed beams. Two of them have double beds, and the third has two twin beds. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bath shower. The cottage is perfect for families. The downstairs is an open space living area, revolving around a chimney with fires on both sides. On one side is a living area, with a televison and comfortable sofas, perfect for lounging and reading the papers. On the other side is a dining area with dining table and chairs, and more comfortable seating right by the stove. This gives on to a large, fully equipped open plan kitchen, with many modern appliances. I also provide basic cooking ingredients such as oils, vinegars, herbs and spices, teas etc. There are two garden areas: one large lawned one out the front, which is perfect for kids to play in and adults to lounge in the sun. There is a smaller paved courtyard, with glass doors off the kitchen. This has a bbq and is perfect for dining out in. All parts of the house will be available to you apart from two locked cupboards. There is someone very nearby in the village who can help you with anything if needed.
