Amalfi Coast gem, located in a medieval village!
The Property is located in 'Badia' Corpo de' Cava (Cava de' Tirreni) 23 miles from Naples International Airport. Badia is a medieval walled fortified village at the mouth of the Amalfi Coast (2 miles) Its relative high elevation (1500 feet) gives it breathtaking views and a wonderful sense of separation from the real world. The walled village sits above a 1000 yr old monastery first established in 1011, which hold the remains of 4 Roman Catholic Saints and other religious artifacts that date back thousands of years. The property itself faces south, with wonderful views of the green Latteri Mountains, which make up the Amalfi Coast. Along with the peaceful sound of a clear mountain stream which runs below. The property has recently undergone renovations which capture both the quintessential essence of its past along with today's modern necessities.
