Dear guests, we look forward to welcoming you in our apartment "Glückspilz" in Tairnbach - total relaxtion, that promises this small countryside resting-oasis in the Kraichgauer Hügelland in the district of Heidelberg. The area of Sinsheim, the golf club / bathing lake St. Leon-Rot and the SAP in Walldorf can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car. The Hockenheimring, Heidelberg and Speyer in 25 min. The leisure parks Tripsdrill (Cleebronn) and Holiday Park (Haßloch) are reachable in 35-45 minutes. The greatest sight to see is the world – look at it… In and around Tairnbach: The natural landscape and the surrounding vineyards offer plenty of starting points for extensive hikes. There is a small village shop with a butcher's shop and a bakery available just steps away from the flat. As well as a farm shop filled with fresh vegetables of the season, delicious farm bread and handmade "Maultäschle" (swebian filled noodles). In addition, in a few minutes you can reach a delicious Italian restaurant with a traditional vaulted cellar and on the weekend invites the restaurant "Schlemmerscheune" to enjoy typical regional specialties from the buffet. Mannheim, Heidelberg, Sinsheim and Speyer are very close and easy to reach by car. There are museums (Speyer and Sinsheim, eg. Auto + Technikmuseum with Concord or Spaceshuttle), wellness landscapes (Sinsheim thermal spa with over 3000 m²) and plenty of shopping opportunities as well as the sports arena of TSG Hoffenheim. The nearest train station (Sinsheim-Hoffenheim) is about 8 minutes away. Generally, a car is recommended for trips to the surrounding area. Your home for some relaxing days ... ... is freshly renovated for you. You live on the garden floor (accessible via stairs) with its own separate access. Here you will find a spacious, cozy 2-room apartment with approx. 60sqm and a terrace with garden, including sun loungers overlooking the greenery. Here you can relax: there are cozy bathrobes, a bath for relaxing and a large comfortable bed (180x200) available for you. In the living room a dining area with space for up to 6 people is integrated. The couch is extendable and can be converted into a sofa bed for 2 people. In the apartment you will find books, games, a TV, radio and free Wi-Fi. In the kitchen is equipped with kitchen basic equipment, as well as a basic selection of spices, vinegar / oil, sugar, tea and a coffee machine. What we have prepared for you ... You can park in front of the house, there is enough space available. Bed linen and towels are provided for you. The towels are changed weekly, we change the sheets for a stay of more than 2 weeks, every 2 weeks. Who is awaiting you ... My husband and I with our little son are awaitig you. We've seen a lot place in the worldalready and love traveling. Since we became parents the clocks are ticking a little differet for us and because of that we are currently not quite so often so far out in the world as in the past. We are now hoping the world comes visiting us thru our guests. We would be glad to answer all your questions about the region and assist you the best we can in planning your trip. In any case, we look forward to seeing you! The next train station - Sinsheim-Hoffenheim - is 10 minutes away. The airport in Frankfurt can be reached within 60 minutes by car, or within about 90 minutes by train. The airport in Stuttgart can be reached in about 90 minutes by car. There are some public busses available, but a car is recommendet if you wanr to visit the surrounding areas. Important additional information Charge for additional change of bed linen or towels as required: Change of linen (2 sets): 12,00 €, Towel change (2 large, 2 small): 5.00 € Children’s high seat and travel cot: free of charge upon prior request The apartment rate is for 2 persons. Each additional person costs 12 € per day. For electricity consumption above 8 kWh / person / day, we charge 0.30 € per kWh. For a water consumption of more than 0.5 m³ / person / week, we charge 0.25 € per additional 0.1m³. We speak Germyn, English, partly French and Spanish.
