The Kvalviks

Serene, simple bedroom in sober colours. Scandinavian minimalism. Natural wooden surfaces and luxurious fabrics: handmade cotton towels, woolen blanket, down pillows, linen lamp, sheepskin. For a good sleep and a memorable vacation. Abundant with natural sunlight, therefore painted in grey, to add coziness. It features a 120 cm wide double bed, a writing/PC-desk, spacious storage units and a couple of chairs. Guests will have access to a spacious bathroom with shower at the same floor, as well as a utility room with washing mashine and drying racks. Kitchen with amenities and diner/lounge with beautiful view over the fjord at the second floor. We are likely to encourage you to join us upstairs for a cop of tea and chat, because of our curious nature :) But should you be looking for peace and quiet, you can always choose to retire to your room downstairs. Walking distance to Kvalvika and Fredvang beaches, to mountain cabin, sauna on lake shore. Hiking: difficult, medium and easy tracks in immediate vicinity. The neighbouring village is Ramberg, with coffee shops, grocery store, restaurants, petrol station, gym, extreme sports center etc Bus Å-Leknes usually stops at the Fredvang bridges - an attraction in itself, unless the weather is bad. The driver may drive all the way to the village upon demand. If not, your bus stop is Fredvang X. We can assist with transport from/to the bus stop if you arrive/depart in the afternoon or weekends. Renting a car should however be your first choice, no matter where in Lofoten you choose to stay. We can arrange fishing trips with real fishing boats and guaranteed catch.
