Cherry Oak Barn - A peaceful countryside retreat

Welcome to Cherry Oak, a lovely two bedroom barn conversion, conveniently situated within the Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire countryside. Via a lovely picture window to the rear, you look out onto stunningly picturesque farmland as far as the eye can see and towards the front, the outlook is over our beautiful cottage style garden with fruit trees and a generous lawn area. There are beautiful woodlands nearby for country walks and a public footpath next to the grounds that leads out over open countryside via a stile. The barn is self-catering accommodation with two bedrooms which we can set up with either two double beds or as one double and two single beds according to your requirements. All bedding and towels are provided. The front door opens into a double height open plan lounge and dining space, a downstairs shower room with toilet and a well appointed kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and washing machine. The two upstairs bedrooms are accessed via a mezzanine landing and there is also an upstairs toilet room. We are happy for you to have access to the entire garden and you have your own private gated decking area for alfresco dining with picnic table and sun parasol, comfy chairs and a gas BBQ. Smoking is permitted in the outdoor seating area. Enjoy curling up on the huge corner sofa with a good book / in front of the TV or indulge in a bit of nature watching through the picture window. Brown hares can regularly be seen grazing in the field along with red legged partridges, pheasants, squirrels, owls and a host of other wildlife are regular visitors both in the garden and in the fields to the rear. There is free WiFi and the mobile phone reception is excellent. Netflix and Amazon Prime are available on the TV along with the usual channels. We have also provided a selection of board games and art equipment for your entertainment. We will do our best to make sure you leave feeling as if you have had a well earned rest and a relaxing stay in a peaceful countryside setting close to nature. The barn is completely separate from the main house, you have independent access and your own driveway, however, we live on-site so there is almost always someone available to help you should you need anything.
