The Four Seasons Cottage Choosing the  four  seasons cottage your stay will be a life experience. The house neat and clean with a cosy living room and the  fire place will make you relax and enjoy every moment of it. In spring watching the flowers and the trees blooming will give you a feeling of fullfilnes. Living almost all day outside in summer in a quite environment you will feel as a bird. The four seasons cottage! Unique homee, joyful. The house is located at a small traditional village at the mountain Pelion, called Pano Katihori, 12 klm from the beautiful city of Volos and 2klm from the main village Portaria. It was renovated, keeping the traditional architecture of the houses of the mountain Pelion while its inside is decorated in a unique way with its light colors making it homee and joyful. The settlement lies in a piece of land of 500 sq. meters in a very quite side, full of trees of all kinds, a garden with lawn and a lot of different flowers such us beautiful roses, hydrangeas etc. A 50 years old walnut tree offers its shadow all day during summer. Under the walnut tree there is a big marble table with four directors chairs, where someone during summer can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Beside the main house there is a stone warehouse where the fireplace woods are stocked. Inside the warehouse there is a round iron table with rattan arm chairs. In front of the house, beneath the main window there is a stone-build couch with two white big pillows, for the summer time. Stepping down at the end of the garden, if you are lucky, you can enjoy fresh tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, zucchinis and all kinds of fresh herbs and during the autumn you can enjoy the apples. The cottage has two floors. At the basement is the living room furnished with five seats sofa, coffee table, two armchairs and a contemporary fireplace which can work without danger even if you leave the house. An exceptional wooden table opens up becoming a dining table for four persons and more with respective chairs. Then living room is equipped with tv, radio & a cd player in case someone wishes to relax by the fire place. On your left you can find the white although traditionally architectured kitchen. It is equipped with electric stove, refrigerator, espresso & French coffee machines and a toaster. At the cupboards someone can find all the necessary items to prepare breakfast, snacks and even meals. At the basement there is also a bedroom with a double bed, with two side tables, drawers, a closet and a separate colorful bathroom with a shower. Beside the fire place, there is a wooden stare leading to the second bedroom upstairs which is also furnished with a double bed, two side tables, a small library, a secretaire and a comfortable armchair. Closet and cupboards are also available (both carry all white sheets, towels, comforter etc.) Every bathroom has its shower and a small pharmacy gives you the privacy you need. Overall, the view from the three windows is amazing, looking at the village, its church and the sea. A kind request: Having all acknowledge the need of saving energy and respect the environment please remember to close the hot water when leave the house to turn the hitting to the minimum. The house has a big parking space in front of it, for 2 cars or more. A public transportation to the city of Volos is available at 30meters distance from the house. You can also reach the village of Portaria, talking the path way behind the house in 15 minutes walk, where there are a lot of restaurants, a small supermarket, bakery etc. Why you will enjoy the 4 season’s cottage all year. During winter time you can enjoy yourself and relax near the fireplace in the house. You can also discover some of the 24 beautiful and well known villages around, and with 20 minutes drive you can reach the ski center at Chania. Even if you don’t ski you can enjoy your coffee with a spectacular view! In spring, seating in the garden near the big marble table, you can watch all the trees and the flowers blooming, you can feel that a new life is born through nature. Also it is a great time of year to explore the interesting town of Volos and its sightseeing. During summer you can spend most of your time outside in the garden with all the colors and smells of the flowers. In 45 minutes drive you can visit the most beautiful beaches of eastern Pelion such as Horefto, Sent John, Pappa Nero, Ntamouhari, Horto, Milina etc. In autumn you can watch the leaves of all the trees in all the mountain turning from yellow to red and also take a drive at the ski center area. There is nothing like that!
