Luxurious kingsize room in Saffron Walden

Our house is on the edge of Saffron Walden, 2 minutes from beautiful fields and a 20 minute walk from the centre of town. It's a spacious house with quirky decor, a lovely garden and parking. The room has a king size bed with a feather and down duvet and pillows. There is a television, kettle and Tassimo coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods, tea bags, biscuits and fresh milk in the room. We provide a basic self service breakfast of toast, cereal, fruit and yoghurt at no extra cost. You will have exclusive use of a bathroom with freestanding bath and powerful shower. We provide John Lewis towels, fluffy robes, a hairdryer and if you forget any essentials - we have a mini 'honesty shop' in the room - just help yourself and leave a £1. You are welcome to use our washer and dryer, and we have fast wi-fi throughout the house. We are a relaxed family of 4 and work from home, so there is usually someone to ask if you have any questions. We are always available via phone during your stay and are happy to help with any local questions or queries. We are close to beautiful walks and a large playing field. There is a Tesco Express within 5 minutes of the house and we can offer transfers to Audley End station and Stansted Airport if arranged in advance. The centre of Saffron Walden is a pretty 20 minute walk away and Saffron Hall and Audley End house are nearby. We are a 20 minute walk into the centre of Saffron Walden. You are welcome to park on our driveway and bikes can be locked in our garage. We can provide taxi numbers. The local companies get booked up so it’s best to book in advance. We understand that you may have concerns regarding Covid-19 measures. Here’s what we’re doing.... * All surfaces are deep cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival - including door handles, hand rails, light switches, remote control etc. * Pillow and mattress protectors and bed linen washed at a high temperature between guests and the room fully aired. * Hand sanitiser provided both at the front door and in the room. * 2 metre social distancing practised at check-in. Once you have your keys we will leave you to come and go as you please. The hall and landing are spacious and allow for easy social distancing. * Coffee, tea and biscuits are all provided in individually wrapped packets. * Help yourself breakfast is available and you will have sole access to the kitchen while you eat. * As a family we have stuck to the lockdown measures and continue to practice social distancing and frequent hand washing.
