Authentic cityhouse w garden near old city

My comfortable and authentic cityhouse from the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) 's, with big garden, is very suitable for families with (small) children. It has all the facilities needed. Also, for couples, it's very close to all of Groningen's highlights. It's a 5 to 10 minutes walk to the old historical city, Groninger Museum, University, shopping mall Westerhaven, Central Station, Noorderplantsoen and the unique 'Stadspark' (city park) full of nature. My pretty house from the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) 's has a spacious garden adjacent to a playground. The home is very comfortable and perfect for a family with (small) children. But also for a couple the house is a great base: it's just a short walk to eateries, pubs, historical city, Groningen University, the Groninger Museum, Shopping Mall Westerhaven, railway station etc ... Also the City Park 'Stadspark' (140 ha) is very close; walking, running, cycling are perfect activities to do here. There is also a petting zoo and a large in- and outdoor playground. Behind the backyard there's a small communal courtyard garden with a playground. For the older kids, there's a ping pong table and there's a small spot with a football goal. For the parents there are some benches with a lovely view on the plants, flowers and the herb wall. Enjoy the house, your vacation and your privacy. I'll be in town and available for questions at all time. The 'Zeeheldenbuurt' ('Sea Hero District') is one of the most popular old city neighbourhoods of Groningen. It's a quite environment but full of atmosphere, very close to the city centre. At the lively road 'Paterswoldseweg' are shops, restaurants, and a typical old-Dutch pub called 'Café Bolhuis', which has a very nice outdoor terrace. There's another good pub where they serve great food: 'Eetcafé Van de Markt'. There's also a nightshop. (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) In the Zeeheldenbuurt it is paid parking, € 1.90 per hour, slightly further away it is free. Do you want to park in front of the house? In consultation a limited number of free hours are available on the visitor's pass. Especially useful when arriving. There is unlimited free parking within a few minutes walking distance, at the end of the Van Heemskerkstraat, just outside the neighbourhood.
