Our home is within walking distance (15 mins) of the historic town of Knaresborough which offers riverside walks, The Castle and Mother Shiptons Cave. You will find a variety of excellent restaurants, Public houses and takeaways in the town centre. Knaresborough is within easy access to Motorways and there are rail links to York, Leeds and London from the rail station . Due to the current situation it would be appreciated if guests could confirm they have received the COVID-19 vaccinations. We offer you a spacious double bedroom with private en suite Bath/shower room accessed from the bedroom. Continental breakfast is served in the dining room. Use of the kitchen to make tea, coffee and hot chocolate . There is a microwave and oven for use to heat pizza for example or ready meals which we would prefer be eaten in the dining room. We would like you to feel welcome In our home and garden. We offer all guests continental breakfast which includes fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt and cereals, mixed meats and cheeses, fresh tomatoes, croissant and toast and boiled egg, home made jams and tea or coffee as required. Tea and coffee is available if required at any time. We can accommodate any dietary requirements. There is a television in your bedroom. You will have your own private bathroom/shower room. The kitchen is available for preparation of light meals eg ready meals or pizza and drinks and you can also enjoy a takeaway and drink a glass of wine to wind down in our dining room, or our garden , weather permitting! Unfortunately we can not accommodate pets as we have two cats in our home. We consider ourselves to be sociable and welcoming and would be happy to spend time with our guests should they wish! I’m sure there would be tales to tell but also realise they may wish to enjoy their own privacy. The most interesting and charming town of Knaresborough has beautiful riverside walks, Knaresborough Castle and Mother Shiptons Cave. The attractive Spa town of Harrogate and the famous Bettys Tea rooms, Valley Gardens and Harlow Car gardens are close by! The Yorkshire Dales are within short driving distance and well worth a visit . We are on a nearby bus route which is every twenty minutes to Harrogate and within easy walking distance of the train station . Leeds Bradford airport is a 30 minutes road journey. York is approximately 18 miles by road and Ripon is approximately 9 miles. We live in a very quiet neighbourhood so offer you a peaceful break surrounded by beautiful countryside.
