Welcome to Kefalonia and to our house! Myrtia apartments are two small but really cozy apartments in Divarata village. Even if each has only one bedroom, they can accommodate up to 3 people and are a perfect solution if you are family! The lovely green terraces will become your beloved place either for a summer "siesta" under the olive oil trees' shade or for a cold glass of white wine during the evening. In a very close distance you can find a small market and taverns. It is located in the centre of Kefalonia and is thus an ideal base for exploring the island! And of course only 2 km away from the worldwide known beach of Myrtos! We are here to guarantee you, one of the best summer breaks, so do not hesitate to contact us. Anna, Spiros Myrtia Appartments are situated in the main road on your way to Myrtos beach, only 1.5 km away. We are more than happy to assist you and help you to organise your trip around the island! We will give you tips about delicious food, hidden paradises and traditional greek fiestas (what we call, panigyri). In no more than half an hour driving distance, you have access to Assos & Fiscardo, two picturesque villages, with the traditional architecture of the Ionian islands, once they were not distroyed in 1953 earthquake. In 5km from Anna's house you can visit Agia Efimia, a beautiful harbor, with nice and small crystal clear beaches. Also in a short distance you can find Melissani Lake, Drogarati Cave, Antisamos beach and Sami's ancient acropolis. Agia Efimia : 6 Km. Assos: 9 Km. Melissani Lake: 12 Km. Sami: 16 Km. Drogarati Cave: 20 Km. Fiskardo: 23 Km. Argostoli: 27 Km. Airport Kefalonia : 34 Km Themata Monastery: 8km In short, our house is the ideal base to explore the whole island! For those who want, there is public transport that you can take from the village square for Argostoli , Fiskardo and also to the beach of Myrtos, at certain times of the day. Divarata is a small nice village on the top of the beautifull Myrtos beach. Nearby there are five traditional restaurants with very nice food and reasonable prices. Cephalonia is a very big island with hidden beauties and places to explore and discover. This is why we always advice our guests to rent a car or a motorbike. Travelling around the island by bus is doable but we do not recommended it.
