This lovely stone property, situated on the outskirts of Bude, provides wonderful access to the North Cornwall and North Devon Coasts. With plenty of beaches and some of the best cliff walks in England close by, this is a superb retreat and one where man's best friend is welcome as well! (up to two medium-sized and well-behaved dogs!). The property itself is nestled in the grounds of Bagbury Byre and has a delightful little private courtyard garden which provides a brilliant sun trap to read a book or dry the beach towels. There is also a securely fenced courtyard directly outside the apartment so the children or dogs can have the freedom to run and play. The barn conversion has been tastefully refurbished and maintained a wealth of character features. The Bude canal and cycleway passes yards from the property and you can follow either of these to the centre of town. Bude has a huge variety of pubs, restaurants, cafés and shops, which are a 15-minute walk away, but the beaches of the North Cornwall coast are the must-see attraction. Accommodation Ground floor only: Enters into a spacious entrance hallway with room for coats, walking boots etc. To the left, the hallway leads to a comfortable lounge dining area with two cosy sofas, flat-screen TV and a separate kitchen with all modern conveniences. Off the hall to the right there is a suite of rooms; a double bedroom with an adjoining bunk room and a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Exterior: Off-road parking at the front with a small private garden with patio furniture and bbq area. Facilities & Services There is a gas central heating system with radiators throughout. The kitchen is fully fitted with a range of units. There are an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, under counter fridge with icebox and a dishwasher. There is a washing machine. The lounge area has a flat-screen digital freeview TV. There is free WiFi at the property. There is an iron, ironing board, cot and high chair. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included but you will need to bring your own beach towels. Up to 2 well-behaved dogs will be permitted at a small additional charge of £30 per dog per week, dogs must not be left unattended in the property and must be kept to the hall, lounge and kitchen area. Regrettably, no smoking is allowed inside the property. There is off-road parking for up to two cars. General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally a Friday. Short breaks are available outside of the peak season during term times. £250 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
