Romantic Shepherd’s Hut Retreat very private.

A beautiful hut within its own private garden with a bbq area, fire pit and bench overlooking paddock. It has a kitchen, with fridge, microwave, two hot plates, a cafeteria,kettle,toaster, a table, stools, a comfortable 6ft 6 in by x 4ft double bed as well as a shower with sink and loo fully plumbed in. A small TV/DVD and wood burning stove just perfect for rainy days and wifi connection. For those who love being close to nature with all the luxury of being at home. No pets allowed. For people looking for a cosy break from the hassle of life these days. During the months that our wonderful pool is open (usually between early June and early September) you are welcome to share it with our family and guests in our cottage. It reaches a max temperature of 26 degrees by early July. Please bring your own swimming towels. Kindly replace cover if the day is chilly. It is our family pool and as a courtesy we invite you to share it. Please do not expect to have this to yourself, although often you may. We do not charge for the use and rules apply as with the use of table tennis/ skittles and darts in covered barn. I will be around if you need me for anything but it’s your space once you arrive. Amazing walks straight from the hut in the South Downs. A very friendly cafe 2 min walk Chocolate Frog and our fabulous pub The Hanger 5 mins walk. Lots of National Trust properties to visit with wonderful gardens. Winchester with cinema, theatre and great shopping 30 mins, Alton has a Waitrose and station 10mins, Farnham , Georgian Town with a Castle 15mins. Fabulous country store , through Kingsley,a 5 mins drive for veg, bread, deli, butcher, great beer, wine and ready meals. All supermarkets you may need in Alton or Bordon. Two other pubs a 5 mins drive are The Cricketers in Kingsley or Three Horse Shoes in East Worldham. Best option is by car or train to Alton and £15 taxi to the farm. You may hear, the cockerel and horses and some road noise from farm vehicles during the day.
