Our shingle Victorian is a short walk to Bellows Falls, with its antique and craft stores, Opera House movie theater ($6 at all times!), book store, and farm-to-table restaurants. Nearby is The Vermont Country Store, and the historic Rockingham Meeting House. Full or continental breakfast (your choice, your time between 8 and 10 AM) offered in our beautiful dining room. Do you like staying in historic homes with a friendly, boarding-house B and B feel? We may be for you! Our blue room gets beautiful light all morning. Furnished with the original 1886 bedroom set. There is a bathroom with shower for your exclusive use, but it is a short walk down the hall. Bathrobes provided for the walk! It's up a flight of stairs on the second floor. Feel free to make our home yours. Coffee or tea at any time available in the butler's pantry. Dining room and music room, upstairs sitting area for your use. We make ourselves available to our guests, as much or as little as you’d like. We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood on one of Bellows Falls' many lovely terraces. Many nice walks available throughout town and river park areas. Bellows Falls downtown, called The Square is a short walk or drive down the road. There’s plenty of free parking. If you’re coming in by train, we’ll be happy to pick you up at the train station. Amtrak’s The Vermonter comes up the Connecticut River from Washington DC and New York City. Please park in either of our driveways and enter through side porch. Our 1886 vintage doorbell needs to be pulled!
