The village was built by the British in the early fifties to bring out from the forest its inhabitants. It is uniquely built in red local bricks. It is worth visiting. Polis is the nearest town with all shopping facilities 12 minute drive with the car. Latchi fishing village and the Akamas Natural Forest and Aphrodite’s baths is a 15 km drive.
