The Old Stables, Whitehall Farmhouse, Oakington

The Old Stables studio is set in the spacious grounds of a listed 17th Century farmhouse. The studio is newly converted and provides accommodation for 2 guests, offering comfortable open plan living, with free wi-fi, off road parking, and the use of attractive garden areas. Large wide screen TV with BT subscription providing Netflix and many additional channels, and Alexa providing music and radio. The kitchenette includes a microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment,iron,ironing board Garden and seating generally available in all parts of garden Continental style breakfast provided. Included is cereals,milk,bread,preserves,juice and yogurt etc There are walks across fields locally,many cambridge attractions and motorways close to all parts of east England. Bus routes to cambridge are routine, driving is approximately 15minutes to city centre, Welcome to Whitehall Farmhouse and The Old Stables. We hope you will enjoy your stay in Cambridge. Local amenities are a grocers shop and Post office. The Whitehorse pub which also serves food, are all 4 minutes walk away. Histon a village 5 minutes drive away has many pups and restaurants,including Thai,Indian and smoke house. There are regular buses to Cambridge and we recommend you download the Stagecoach app. The Stable has been thoroughly cleaned with antibacterial/viral wipes and sprays, for stays over 7 days or more this will be done on a weekly basis. Washing of clothes and towel change will be made part way through the week for 7 days or more stays.Additional cleaning materials and sanitisers can be found under the shower room cabinet. Linen has been washed over 60 degrees. We will not enter the Old Stable unless requested to do so or on notice of replacement of bulbs etc. Instruction to appliances are in the kitchen draw. There is an electric blanket if you need and additional heating is available. If any further help is required please do not hesitate to contact us. When you initially arrive gates will be open. On the front door key ring is a fob that will enable you to operate the front gates, aim phob to left of pillar when leaving and to right of pillar on arrival,the gates automatically close themselves,especially useful with a car. On arrival please drive in and reverse into guest parking ( parking is at owners risk) On arrival,go to back of house and keys will be in stable door. Cambridge is a diverse city with interesting places to visit and with many restaurants and shops. There is ample parking and 4 large car parks. You'll find the Wi-Fi code is on the top left hand side of the tall mirror as you enter, if you wish there is a direct link to the main router through an Ethernet cable in case you need fast speed for a laptop.
