Please note that this is our family home and not a professional b&b/ holiday let and whilst you are welcome to use our front room it is not part of what you are paying for and thus may not be to as high a standard as your personal en-suite room Private Ensuite bathroom, with shower over the bath. Less than a mile from Edale train station Parking on the drive, blocked paved area only No WFI signal unless at the pub, railway station or have EE Guests are welcome to use our hot tub, extra towels available (£5 per person) As much or as little as they require, if you want privacy i.e. Sole use of the living room ask to use the front lounge. We are pretty easy going and we love to have guests stay. Edale is a peaceful place to live and to visit. We have one set of neighbours whom run Gingerbread Cottage, a two bedroom bungalow. Edale suits people whom enjoy the outdoors/ and or appreciate a good view - if you require shops and indoor activities Edale may not be the place for you. There is no footpath directly outside the house (I now mention it as one guest found it a problem). Other people struggle with the weather and that mainly it is colder than down south, again this is out of my control but on top of the heating guests are welcome to lite the fire (please make yourself familiar with the workings of the stove as again some people struggle to light it). Matches, coal, wood, kindling, easy burn logs and fire lighter all left for your use. Please also note that this is our family home, not a business, we merely love to share it with others We are within walking distance of the train station, just under 1 mile, busses do run from Sheffield to Hope and Castleton BUT not all the way to Edale and Taxis are not easy to acquire. I am happy to collect guests from the station but this isn't always possible so do check first as mobile phone signals are somewhat glitchy out here The bedroom is quite small but is of an adequate size to house either two singles or a king size bed. Small children are welcome but would have to sleep in the same bed as parents or on a blow up bed. Mobile signal is almost nil in the whole of Edale unless you are on EE We will consider letting the whole house; 3 bedrooms, 2 lounge area's
