Quiet and spaceous apartment by the river

Large apartment situated in a quiet residential area. Walking distance from the town centre and Adeli clinic. Modern furnishings and contemporary fit out. Decent level of comfort with lots of living space to be enjoyed. Designated parking space in the underground garage, alternatively, safe and free street parking in front of the building. Suitable for 4 adults or a family. The apartment is situated in a pleasant area of Floreat, which is popular due to its location near the river Vah. It is about a 15 minute walk (as per (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps) from the town centre. Aupark is the nearest shopping centre, where most items can be purchased including groceries, clothing and toiletries. The apartment is situated on the third floor, however there is a lift so the accommodation could be suitable for a wheelchair user. Guests can access the entire apartment and enjoy fully all the amenities contained therein. We may not always be available in person to interact with our guests during their stay, however we will do our best to respond to messages as quickly as we can. Whenever we can't be available in person, we will arrange for a trusted representative to meet & greet our guests upon arrival, to exchange the keys and show guests around the apartment. Upon departure, the keys will be collected and an outgoing inventory check will be carried out. Due to various security features on the apartment building, we can't operate a key deposit safe system. Therefore, the check in and check out procedure must always be conducted in person, at the time mutually agreed in advance, upon booking acceptance. Please refer to the house rules, and check carefully before proceeding with the Instant Booking feature to ensure that these practicalities fit within your travel plans, such as scheduled flight arrivals and departures. Regretfully we don't have the necessary resources to accommodate 24/7 check in and check out reception service like hotels do. The apartment is situated in a pleasant area allowing guests to enjoy relaxing walks or cycle rides alongside the river. Bikes can be hired from various places in town. Jogging and inline skating are also very popular on the river banks. There are some opportunities for gentle hiking in the nearby hills. Water sports can be enjoyed on Lake Slnava, such as rowing, cayaking and water skiing. Spa Island offers lovely strolls around nicely maintained parks and flower beds, and at the end of the Spa Island there is a 9 hole golf course. Day spa passes to thermal mineralised pools, jacuzzis and saunas can be purchased at various hotels, together with specialised treatments such as massages, warm compresses from locally sourced mud, Kneipp herbal baths with essential oils, or rejuvenating stays in a salt cave. Coffee, desserts and ice creams can be enjoyed at many outdoor coffee shops around the town. Popular choice of a mid day meal is going for a 'daily menu' lunch - these are set menu meals which are very reasonably priced, and often work out cheaper than cooking a meal at home. The apartment is also near a recreational area called Lodenica where various water sports competitions and races such as rowing can be spectated. There is a music festival in the summer and many locals enjoy taking a picnic or sunbathing on the river bank greens. Getting around Piestany is fairly easy. The apartment is a walking distance from the town centre. Taxi rates are also quite reasonable. Bikes are available for hire. We sometimes block certain dates for potential use by our family members and friends - if your preferred slots are showing as unavailable, please do contact us anyway with your enquiry as we may be able to unblock these for you.
