James Cottage

A beautiful recently converted dairy, in the beautiful village of Chelmorton, a classic White Peak limestone village in stunning upland scenery, a very quiet and peaceful village within the Derbyshire Dales. James Cottage is a luxurious 2 bedroom property for couples, families or groups where both king size beds can be split into twins. Ideal for cyclists, where there's a secure garage, with drying area & bike wash. Perfect spot for walkers to explore the Derbyshire Dales & Peak District. The Cottage has an open plan living/dining area, with underfloor heating on the ground floor, with added benefit of a wood burning style, bioethenal stove, an eco friendly fire, for those cosy nights in. The bedrooms & bathrooms are heated through the central heating system via radiators. The master bedroom has ensuite facilities with the second bedroom having a king size bed and use of the family bathroom. Both beds can be split into twins on request. There is a seating area to the rear of the cottage and a small park close by for the younger children. There is ample private parking with the facility of a secure garage for bicycles & motor bikes including a drying area with tumble dryer and bike wash. We provide complimentary tea, coffee, milk and coffee pods. Extra bioethanol fuel can be purchased from us for the fire if required. We are always available if you need any assistance during your stay by phone, text or call etc. We are happy to help with suggestions on days out, walks or fabulous local pubs. Chelmorton is a small village 10 minutes from the nearby town of Buxton , close to Bakewell , Chatsworth House and the Tissington trail to name a few . We have an excellent village pub, within 2 minutes walk from the cottage, The Church Inn, who serve a variety of great pub food and local ales. The village park for the younger members of the family is only a minute away from the cottage , A car is a necessity here in Chelmorton but it’s lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of City life , at James Cottage we have ample off road parking for guests. A variety of national supermarket chains will deliver to our accommodation .
