A beautiful annex with SkyTv, Pool and Pony rides

A beautiful sun-filled 2 bed annex in the heart of rural Sussex, Revolve Cottage sits on the side of our home with access to a private decked patio, outdoor seating and a charcoal BBQ, with use of our swimming pool, Set in an idyllic peaceful location it is the perfect place to escape busy lives and relax and unwind. The cottage benefits from a spacious, open plan living room and kitchen, two double bedrooms, and a bathroom with a bath and stand-alone shower. Due to the pandemic a full disinfectant clean is done between guests. We also respect the on going social distancing and ask our guests while staying here to do the same. I provide crisp bed linen, soft white towels and swimming towels for the outdoor pool (for use by prior arrangement when open). The kitchen is well equipped with all the basics and essentials and I leave tea, coffee, salt, pepper and oil plus a small hamper of locally-sourced goodies to welcome you. There will also be a comprehensive manual with local tips and safety information in the cottage. There is a 48 inch TV with Sky channels. The annex is attached to our family home which consists of a number of dogs, cats, children and horses. We are child and dog friendly but ask that both remain well supervised during your stay! We have stables with a floodlit sand school and a separate paddock which we could rent to guests if you'd like to bring a horse/pony with you (by prior arrangement) - we have lots of wonderful riding locally and plenty of equestrian attractions including Hickstead Showground and other local shows and events. We have 2 wonderful children’s ponies. The ponies can be hired for children to enjoy a riding lesson or a picnic ride with a visiting qualified and fully insured riding instructor. Please book in advance. Happy for guests to have a walk around the grounds, please stay out of the fields while horses are in them. Swimming pool is an outdoor heated pool, once the weather changes we close it for winter. Therefore it is usually open from late April early May until the weather changes late September early October. I am generally around for any questions/enquiries you may have. The beautiful village of Newick is walking distance from Revolve Cottage with three lovely country pubs, a locally run bakery, an award winning curry house, butchers, a pharmacy and two convenience stores. We are perfectly positioned for you to explore a range of activities and sights including the rolling South Downs, Nymans Gardens, Sheffield Park Gardens, Wakehurst Place, The Bluebell Railway, Glyndebourne, Plumpton races, Ashdown Forest, Lewes, Brighton and a number of local vineyards and organic farm shops. We are between Uckfield and Haywards Heath, both 10 minutes by car. Brighton and Hove is 25 minutes by car. Haywards Heath has great train connections to London Victoria (37 mins) Gatwick airport (9 minutes) and the South coast. The village of Newick is also on a good bus route. I provide a lovely breakfast hamper. There are 3 options - Fit for a Sussex farmer (full cooked) HRH Meghan (eggs, smoked salmon with bakery bread - with a side of pancakes) Continental (cereals, pastries) Also, at an additional cost I can provide a BBQ meat hamper. Before booking please remember this is our family home and we do live in the countryside. There is “mud” and “puddles” if it’s raining. Sadly, we are unable to order the weather. Wellies and outdoor clothes would be advised if you are planning on riding lessons and or outside walks.
