This beautiful beamed farmhouse was built around 160 years ago. A typical French farmhouse, restored to retain its original charm but with modern conveniences including wi-fi. it is in a peaceful rural setting, yet just 90 mins drive from Calais. You will find yourselves in a friendly farming community with lots of peace and quiet yet still close to facilities. There is a bakery, bank and pharmacy in the village of Fillievre. Close by is Auxi-le-chateau and a little further is Hesdin. Cosy lounge and dining area with log burner and cosy ground floor bedroom also with log burner and direct access to covered veranda. Family bathroom adjacent. Modern kitchen with everything you will need including a corkscrew! There is a utility room with dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. Upstairs there are 2 light and airy bedrooms with additional cloakroom. Outside we have a walled garden at the front with seating/dining . Parking for 1-2 cars. At the rear there is a large patio with BBQ. Casual seating plus dining area. Large garden with steps up to our top garden with lovely views over countryside and access to a lane for walking or cycling. We have guest reviews on others sites.
