Please only book if you can meet the current government guidelines. Pines Cottage is tucked away in the picturesque area of St Margaret's Bay, Dover. With plenty of space for up to 8 guests, 4 en-suite bedrooms, modern fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area, all on one level. The views of the gardens, woodland and sea are spectacular from the patio. and the beach and coastal trails are on the doorstep. Guests can enjoy the 6 acres of the Pines Gardens. Pines Cottage has 4 large bedrooms with private bathrooms. The beds are set up as 4 x Super king size beds. Here at The Bay Trust, we have introduced and incorporated up-cycled, recycled and reused items and elements in every room of the Pines Cottage. All carpet tiles use nylon recycled from waste off cuts, returned carpets and salvaged fishing nets. The hallway barrier mats are made from recycled car tyres. We have sourced a ‘lino’ replacement made entirely from natural biodegradable materials, linseed oil, pine tree resin, wood flour, limestone and jute. This has been used for the living area flooring. The interior walls were finished with a magnesium oxide board and painted with a paint which uses no solvents. Both of these products are non-toxic - see the house manual for more details. Guests will have access to all areas of The Pines Cottage including a cosy balcony dining area with beautiful views of the sea and the Pines Garden. There is free parking spaces located opposite the property. Should you have any questions during your stay, please contact the out of hours number The Pines Cottage is set at the edge of the 6 acre site of the Pines Gardens in St Margaret's Bay. The beach is a 2 minute walk down the hill. There is free parking on the unadopted road adjacent to The Pines Cottage. There is a Stagecoach bus service that runs to and from St Margaret's-at-Cliffe village and a train station at Martin Mill which is 3 miles away. Beach towels are not provided - please bring your own We would like to suggest that you shop for all your food supplies (including essential items) before arriving although there is a local village shop five minutes drive away (closes 8pm). The nearest supermarket is approx 15 minutes drive away. The Pines Gardens are open to guests until dusk only please feel free to enjoy them The Pines Gardens Tea Rooms is open for take-aways Weds to Suns 10am to 4pm. There's a Pub/Restaurant on the beach - a 2 minute walk - booking advised
