A quaint hideaway within easy reach of Monmouth and some beautiful countryside.
Converted from a cow byre in 2004 this little barn is set in a private courtyard next door to the owners' house. It is warm and comfortable and has flexible bedroom accommodation sleeping from 2 to 4 people. Only 4 miles south of Monmouth in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the surrounding views are magnificent and the property is well situated for the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and Wye and Usk Valleys for those who enjoy cycling, canoeing, fishing or just walking. The area boasts plenty of excellent restaurants and pubs and is renowned for its food and music festivals as well as pretty villages and picturesque walks. The property has a level entrance with wide doors and on the ground floor a sitting room, double bedroom, kitchen and bathroom, with bath and walk-in shower. There are two mezzanine bedrooms accessible by companionway style ladders containing two single beds each. These have robust gates to close at night and the stairs are easily managed by most age groups. Not really recommended for children under five years, but parents discretion. There is parking for at least two cars and a small garden/courtyard to sit out in
