Our accommodation boasts 3 Superior Kings, 6 standard Kings, 2 Suites, 2 twin or double rooms, 1 small double, all en-suite with walk in showers All our rooms are dog friendly. We pride ourselves on the comfort and cleanliness of what we refer to as “slightly quirky accommodation”. Our Superior King rooms are located in the original part of our inn, all three have Walk in ensuite showers, Large TV's, Tea and Coffee, Biscuits and bottles of water You will also find a Dab alarm radio, and Coffee Pod Machine These rooms are located on the first floor and above our bar area We pride ourselves on the comfort and cleanliness of what we refer to as “slightly quirky accommodation”. The building was originally a Dowager’s House and not purpose built as an Inn. Our stairs creak, as do some of our floors, the walls aren’t symmetrical and the sash windows might be a bit stiff. But this is part of its charm. As we are a Country Inn all rooms are above something, whether it be the bar, restaurant or the kitchen, so there will be noise coming from below during our opening hours. We have listed all our rooms and have given you an honest appraisal of each room so you know what to expect. All rooms have a TV, tea & coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi. Welcome to the Mortimer Arms, a family run Country Inn ideally located on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire. Formally the Victorian home of a Dowager, it has been sympathetically extended to include bar, restaurant. We are in a perfect location for exploring the New Forest, Winchester, Portsmouth, Southampton and the like.
