Family vacation chalet in a quiet forest area

Located at precisely 1300 m altitude, the Mandel family vacation chalet is in a quiet forest area of Harghita Bai. It will host comfortably a family of 5 people, plus 2 guests, altogether 7 people. It has a garage for 2 cars, a large balcony and a backyard area for a barbeque. It is located 200 meter from the Mofetta, 850 meters from the ski area and the Balu Adventure Park, 600 meter from the town center and grocery shop, 780 meters from the ice-skating ring. The house is built using natural materials: natural rock base, wood walls, clay tiles, and the best possible workmanship. The inside is made comfortable with attention even to the last details: the wood stairs, the wide sofa, the rocking armchairs, the soft bed mattresses, Equipped with electrical in-floor heating on both levels, you can walk around barefoot and feel the warmth of the floor. The floor heating is perfectly combined with the centrally placed self-standing fireplace, that will heat the house and charm you with the ambiance it creates. Drinking your morning coffee or sunbathing on the balcony, relaxing in front of the huge balcony window/door or in front of the fire, preparing hot wine or a fresh tea, wherever you will be in the house, whatever you will do, it will be nice and relaxing - the perfect place for a vacation away from the crowd. You can move in, relax and enjoy the whole house. You only share the house with the people you came with, nobody else will disturb. Under the house is a two-car garage, but you can also park on the driveway or on the street, it is always free and available. There is a large balcony/terrace in front of the house, equipped with outdoor furniture in the summer. You can also make barbeque at the base of the stairs or in the backyard of the house, which is a shared area for the two houses. We will be happy to guide you to the house or welcome you there, but if you wish, you will find the keys and you can explore the house yourself. You will have your privacy while you stay in our house, and only if you need us, we will be available for you. It is located in a very quiet place, surrounded by high pine trees. The closest neighbors are the Pálos Monastery, the 100-year-old wood church, and the sulfur Mofetta. In the winter you can practice various sports in the area (ski, skate, sled), in the summer you can climb the nearby mountains. The chalet belongs to a small town, where everything is within walking distance (grocery store, restaurants, post office, rental places, etc). From the main road 13A that is connecting Miercurea Ciuc with Odorheiu Secuiesc, you will take the road 138A, taking you uphill for 7 km, until you reach Harghita Bai. Look for the church, in front of the church take right going downhill, passing the side entrance of the Mofetta, 50 meters and you find the two identical houses on your left. The hot water is made by an electric boiler of a given capacity, when it is used intensely, it might take little time to heat up again to the desired temperature. In the last 8-9 year we did not see bears in the chalet's area.
