Spacious and cozy 80m2 family friendly cottage with a unique first-row view of Roskilde Fjord. Large garden, porch, fireplace and grass on the roof. Your peaceful home away from home surrounded by nature and wildlife and only 45 min from Copenhagen. Norwegian style cottage with grass on the roof. One master bedroom, one single bedroom and one room with a bunk bed for three people. Mattresses are available for additional guests if necessary. Good bathroom with shower and washing machine. Small kitchen with all amenities, including dishwasher and a high chair for children. Large combined dining and livingroom that opens up to a large porch facing the Fjord. Outdoor dining furniture and a barbecue is available. Large green garden with a sandpit and outdoor fireplace. We are happy to provide tips and information for your stay. There is also an information note in the cottage with detailed advice and tips for what to do in the area. We recommend a walk to the end of dam - the old railway bridge. It is also an excellent place for fishing. Rosenhaven in Gerlev Park is a short walk and worth a visit. J.F. Willumsen Museum in Frederikssund is also recommended, it is a beautiful building with shifting exhibitions. The Fjord Path passes right by the cottage. It is a 275 km cycle and footpath of natural beauty which takes you on a round trip of Roskilde Fjord and Isefjord. Parking space for two cars at the cottage. Bicycle track around the Fjord outside the house The nearest super markets are in Frederikssund and Jaegerspris 5 km away so having a car is recommended. The nearest train station is in Frederikssund. From there you can take a taxi to the cottage or a bus to Gerlev and then walk the last 1,5 km.
