"Gerosa" Is a family owned Villa with all the mod cons and creature comforts of home. 2 large bedrooms, 1 en suite with extensive upstairs terrace over looking golf course and lake in thriving gated spa/leisure resort. Kept to very high standard. Spacious townhouse that is kept to the highest standards. Ideal location for a relaxing break, family holiday or Golf/water sports breaks. The house has 2 bedrooms on two levels, ground floor is a large open plan living and dining room with adjacent kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with every conceivable tool for the home cook, everything you'll need for dining in. Full hob, oven, large family fridge, dishwasher etc. Downstairs bedroom has 2 single beds which can be joined to form queen sized double, pergolas and shutters keep this room Cool in summer and cosy in winter. Family bathroom with full bath and shower on ground floor. Sitting room with flat screen satellite TV. Air conditioning. Large couch extends to double sofa bed to accommodate 2 additional guests. Extendable family dining table in dining space which opens through double doors to ground floor terrace backing onto the tee box of Le Torre's risk/reward 16th hole. Ground floor terrace has additional large family dining table with ample seating for al fresco dining and some shelter from midday sun. Downstairs terrace also houses Services, hot water, washing machine etc. The upstairs master bedroom has a large en suite with full bath over looking kids playground and farmland to the front of the property, this bedroom has a double bed and is air conditioned. Bedroom opens onto large upstairs sun terrace which has plenty of chairs, sun loungers, a large parasol and tables to relax in comfort while taking in views of the golf course and lake... perfect spot for an evening drink! Everything in the fully equipped kitchen. We offer use of our large 3 burner gas barbecue to guests but asked it be cleaned to the standard it was found in. There are plenty of outside chairs for dining outdoors, lounging, reading a book and all will be left out for guests use. As this is a family owned home, we can arrange baby equipment, high chair, travel cot, baby bouncer etc for guests with small kids at no extra charge. Let me know if you need this stuff as it's normally kept in storage. Access to all of the complexes pools is complimentary for guests, armbands in the house, must be returned on departure. There are circa 14 pools on site of varying sizes. Wifi is included and works throughout the house, inside and out. As little or as much as you like. We live in Dublin but commute to this home pretty regularly. We'll give you all the details and facilities you need to enjoy your stay and our keyholders can be available in person if required. Le Torre is one of the more established of the many golf resorts in the region and a nice mix of native and ex pats means the resort is very well maintained and serviced 12 months a year. There is a lively town square in the resort which has a Tapas bar which is great for a bite, the golf club serves food all day and the Lively pinos bar upstairs has a good atmosphere and great selection of drinks/nibbles in the evening. There is an obligatory "Irish" themed bar that buzzes most evenings and into the wee hours. A couple of good quality restaraunts in the town square, hair,beauty salon, there is a large on site supermarket. Probably lots more on the resort I am neglecting to mention here but suffice to say it's well catered for on site but the recommendation is to explore the local towns/villages/cities and coast lines. Le Torre is ideally situated 20 minutes from Murcia Int'l airport which is well serviced from most airports year round. Alicante is just 45 - 50 minutes drive just up the motor way. Just outside the gates of the resort are the towns of Balsicas and Roldan, both have a number of great family restaraunts, some quant bars with a proper Spanish feel and amazing prices. 15 minutes Drive from Gerosa will get you to Los Alcazares, a bustling beachside town with miles of sandy beaches hugging the mar menor coast. The cities of Murcia and Cartajena are equal distance in opposite directions and no more than a 35 minute drive away. Public transport by bus, train and taxi is possible but to get the most from this property, the resort and the surrounding areas I strongly recommend renting a car. There's plenty of parking on the driveway and on the street in front of the house There's a train station in nearby Balsicas where you can catch trains to Murcia and Cartagena, both beautiful cities - BUT to get to the train station you'll need to drive or get a local taxi. Buses are available in Roldan and Balsicas but again you'd need to get a taxi into both towns to catch the bus! COMMUNAL POOLS ACCESS Due to COVID-19 restrictions the communal pools on the resort have reduced capacity and guests will be asked to adhere to local and resort authority policies while using the pools.
