Honeysuckle Cottage is a quaint 16th century cottage in the heart of the beautiful village of East Meon. With 2 great pubs within 200m walk and surrounded by the rolling countryside of the South Downs National Park, this recently renovated cottage is the perfect country getaway for a romantic retreat or up to 4 guests. Pets are welcome at Honeysuckle Cottage. Inside this cosy cottage is a kitchen dining room for up to 4 guests and a living room with exposed beams and fireplace. Upstairs the master bedrooms has a king size bed and the second bedroom a guest bed which can be used as a single bed or extended into two single beds, please note that when extended there is little other space in the room. The stylish bathroom has a separate bath and shower with complimentary REN toiletries. Outside Honeysuckle cottage there is a private enclosed garden. A patio with dining furniture and BBQ lead onto the lawn and summer house beyond. Adjacent to the cottage is a small stream, part of the river Meon which runs through the village. Honeysuckle Cottage was originally built in the 16th century (when Henry the 8th was around) and has all the character features of a cottage this age as well as the modern conveniences of a recent renovation. However the downstairs ceiling are low (about 6'3" at their lowest), so talker guests should be weary!
