The Doll's House is a delightful and stylish, rose covered Grade II listed chocolate box cottage inside a walled garden of a manor house close to Bungay in Suffolk. It is the perfect place for romantic off-grid escapism. Surrounded by countryside, there are beautiful walks to discover, country lanes to cycle along and quaint villages to explore, as well as being within easy reach of the Suffolk coast and the historic city of Norwich. Privacy is assured whilst help is on hand if needed. The Doll's House was built in 1647 within the grounds of Hedenham Hall a Grade I listed property. The historic building has modern twists including the dining table and chairs, nestled under the stairs. There are exposed oak beams to the vaulted ceiling in the open plan kitchen/diner/ lounge area. The lounge area has a wooden floor with two large comfortable sofa chairs and a wooden log stand holding an ethanol living flame fire. The Fired Earth shower room has underfloor heating for added comfort, whilst the kitchen is the perfect setting for making delicious dinners to be enjoyed with something wonderful to drink. The mezzanine level is where you will find the double bed, bedside cabinets and wardrobe. There is a paved area outside, enclosed by wrought iron railing, where you can enjoy alfresco dining, whilst drinking in the scenery of the beautiful walled garden. Secure off-road parking is available. The Dolls House is a delightful small detached Grade II Listed cottage comprising; Kitchen/Living Room and bathroom on the ground floor and galleried bedroom on the first floor Outside is a small enclosed paved terrace which is ideal for an al fresco meal and enjoying the view of the surrounding garden Te Doll's House is situated 13 miles south of the Cathedral city of Norwich with its expanding business community, excellent range of shops and cultural facilities. Locally there is good shopping available in the picturesque market town of Bungay (2 1/2 miles) and Beccles (9 miles). There are a number of golf courses in the area whilst the Norfolk Broads and the coast, within easy driving distance, are renowned for their sailing and bird reserves whilst the Waveney Valley offers delightful scenery and varied walks. There is a regular bus service which takes you into Norwich or Bungay just moments from your front door.
