Traditionally styled, self contained, cosy and welcoming log cabin, tucked away within our 5 acre camping field. Sleeps up to 4 people. Sofa bed and double bed. Outdoor area for BBQs. Check out the activities that are available on site. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome in the cabin (additional charge and pet rules apply - please see our notes below under 'house rules' section) Standard double bed and comfortable standard double sofa bed, mean the cabin can comfortably sleep up to 4 people. Open plan in layout, feeling spacious and welcoming. There are no steps (a small lip is at the threshold), accommodation is all on the one level. Decorated in a rustic manner, sympathetic to a traditional log cabin design. Kitchenette has a 2 ring hob, microwave and fridge, toaster, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. We can also supply a BBQ for alfresco dining. Home made biscuits, tea, coffee and milk will be left for you. All towels and linens are provided. There is a picnic table outside, set in adjacent own garden area. The cabin is self contained. Washing machines and dryers are available at a small extra charge in a communal area nearby. Subject to availability and for an additional charge, guests can also book in for breakfast with our bed and breakfast guests and enjoy a quality breakfast with locally sourced and free range produce, home made preserves and baked goods, filter coffee and tea, juices, yogurts and fruit. Or bring a plate to the house and we will fill it for you :) Guests can book in for canoe hire from our mooring during April and September onto the Old River Nene and paddle into town and beyond. Subject to availability archery 'have a go' sessions can be pre booked April to September. Guests can fish off our mooring during open season - bring your gear and license. We will leave you in peace unless you need anything we are close by in the main house We are situated on the outskirts of March town set in farmland. Our town is down to earth and friendly with most facilities you need and only a couple of miles away. There is a large Tescos less than 5 minutes away and a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays in town. Guests can walk into town along the river bank on the public footpath (takes about 30 mins) or drive (5-10 mins) with free parking. The nearest bus service is at Tescos or at town. Buses will take you to Ely, Wisbech and Kings Lynn amongst other towns. The train station is 5-10 drive away with trains to Peterborough, Ely, Cambridge, York, Birmingham, Stansted Airport and London. Cambridge is 50 minute drive, Ely and Peterborough 30 minute drive and the North Norfolk coast 45 minute drive away. March town centre has free parking throughout. The cabin is set within a quiet area of our camping field and alongside our bed and breakfast and shepherds hut. During high season, there maybe be some background noise from other guests moving about on the small campsite (which is run as a quiet family campsite with the same quiet times) and the noises you would expect within an arable farming environment.
