Our spacious 5 bedroom detached family home with large gardens is surrounded by beautiful views and un-spoilt countryside. Exclusively available for wedding guests at Villiers Barn. Hire our home and spend time relaxing prior to the special event. Whether you are part of the Bridal party or family and friends wanting to spend time together in preparation for the wedding, our recently updated and restyled home is the perfect location for you. Please ask about our one night wedding special offer. Situated in a relaxing countryside environment with extensive views, we hope our family home has everything you may need from the moment you arrive until the time you depart. On the first floor, we offer 2 double bedrooms, a family bathroom and 2 single rooms (which share an en-suite shower room). On the ground floor, we offer an additional double bedroom and a further shower room, which are perfect if any of your party has limited mobility issues and would rather avoid using stairs to the first floor. There is a separate stylish lounge with direct access to a rear private conservatory. This has been specifically prepared and furnished for that morning before the wedding, where the Bride and her party can get themselves ready for the special day, uninterrupted and away from the direct gaze of other guests. We have an open-plan kitchen/diner and second lounge conservatory area where the other guests can simply enjoy soaking in the picturesque views that surround the property. ensuring the Bride and her party can have that special morning before the wedding together. There is ample parking for 6+vehicles, should it be needed, set within the large front gardens, with an atmospheric tree lined driveway perfect for some pre-wedding photos to capture that perfect memory. There are also other opportunities for that perfect photograph in the rear private garden which hosts an outdoor lounge area, a separate dining area and even a BBQ area. There is a small outdoor play area to the front of the property for younger children to enjoy, under supervision. We also offer the opportunity to enhance the venue with lovely personal touches and potential extras (including hamper packages) which are available with prior notice, please don't hesitate to speak to Rachel for further details. If the dates you are considering are shown as not available on our bookings calendar, please do not hesitate to contact Rachel as she may be able to accommodate your requests. Rachel our Co-host will meet you with the keys on your arrival. There is ample parking for at least six cars on the gated driveway. Please be careful when leaving the property. The property is on the same road as Villiers Barn, less than a 30 second drive away, on the opposite side of the road. Your privacy is valued, should you require any further assistance throughout your stay please contact Rachel on the details provided and she will be able to assist. Thank you. We want to make your stay as special as possible Rachel is always available for further queries. ONE NIGHT SPECIAL OFFER WITH 10am CHECK IN ON THE WEDDING DAY! Having hosted a few wedding guest bookings, and having attended a fair few weddings ourselves, we have come to the conclusion that we might be able to offer guest AirBnB accommodation that suits those attending a wedding at Villiers and only need or want single night accommodation. Our suggestion is to offer accommodation with an early morning check in of 10am, on the morning of the celebration, on the premise that that would allow our guests to arrive here, shower and change into their wedding outfits, after perhaps a long journey, and then attend the wedding at Villiers, returning after the celebration to spend the night in our property, before leaving in the morning. Due to the time of check in and check out, which effectively runs into a two day booking, there would have to be an increase in the price shown for one night, however this costing would be less than a two night booking. To get the opportunity to shower and change prior to the wedding without having to incur costs of an additional night in a hotel, might just fit in with your plans. we know from personal experience how useful that would be. We also have one room set out specifically to allow guests to apply those finishing personal touches to their own hair or make up or even for a hair/make up stylist to help them prepare for the occasion. As we don't want our home to be used to host parties or ‘events’, we will need to confirm that you are actually attending a wedding at Villiers, if you are not prepared to offer verification, then sadly we will not accept your request for a booking. We will also not accept all male or all female bookings. We are best suited to accommodate whole families with two or three generations in a single homely environment. We have also decided to only offer our home for bookings on a limited availability, that means it will always look at its best if you decide to make our home your accommodation choice for the occasion. Please note that even if we are shown as ‘closed’ for bookings, please enquire as we may be able to accommodate your request, subject to our decision to limit availability. Situated on the same road as the beautiful Villiers Barn it's a 30 second drive along an unrestricted rural road to Villiers and as there is no footpath, we advise against walking there or back. we are 2 miles from the village of Thorpe-le-Soken with a diverse selection of restaurants & shops, and less than 5 minutes drive away from Clacton Shopping Village Retail outlet. Our home may be in a rural environment but there are convenient amenities within a short driving distance. In addition, Clacton on Sea, Holland on Sea, Frinton on Sea & Walton on the Naze all offer great beaches with Clacton and Walton both offering traditional seaside piers full of attractions and entertainment. Driving access is from the A12, A120 & A133 access via Weeley or Thorpe-Le-Soken. As Villiers Barn & Twin Waters share the same postcode SatNav may take you there but we are just a short drive away. Thorpe-Le-Soken train station is the closest train station, with hourly trains from both London Liverpool Street and London Stratford. Our home is only a couple minutes drive away and Taxis are available if pre-ordered. Walking from the station is not advised due to the lack of a formal footpath in several places. If you are looking for extra services for your stay, (hairdressers, make up artist, food parcels and hampers, days out etc.) - please get in touch with Rachel who will help to enhance your stay with us, with her carefully selected local trusted businesses.
