Le petit cottage de charme à la campagne

A well equipped private detached cottage suitable for a couple, located on the edge of a beautiful village, just a short walk to the local shop/bar. Nearest supermarket is 5 kilometers away. Within easy reaching distance of top rated Normandy attractions, including the Normandy landing beaches and historic places of interest. Paris is 2hrs30mins by train from Flers, the nearest ferry port is Ouistreham, airports Dinard and Carpiquet. In colder months the nightly rates include logs. The coffee machine in the cottage is a dolce gusto and a cafetière a piston, also there is some tea/coffe & sugar to use on your arrival, also available are some basics which include olive oil / vinaigrette / salt & pepper. I am available to answer any questions in person during your stay or by phone/message or email. The cottage is within 15 minutes drive of Flers, Vire and Conde sur Noireau to name a few for great restaurants/bars, shopping /open air markets, swimming pools and sight seeing we are on the edge of Swiss Normandie with lots of cycling and walking routes, numerous places for outdoor activities include Clécy, Thury Harcourt, La Roche d’Oëtre and Le Mont Cerisy. If walking in the countryside is your passion there are lots of tracks from the cottage. Also been informed recent guests there is a good source of trout .... good to know for keen fishermen. Next to the church in Frênes there is a charging station for electric cars. Your own transport is recommended to get around, local towns have links via bus and train, we have plenty of space to park your vehicles a secure place is possible on request for cycles or motorbike. The cottage has a wood burning stove which is a lovely and a cosy addition for you to enjoy during your stay, there are UK freesat and French FTA television channels along with smart tv capabilities eg, NETFLIX & YouTube available, also a selection of dvds to view, puzzles and board games. Additionally there is a single fold out bed available which is located in the bedroom. The outside area has a table / chairs / loungers and cushions there is a bbq and a selection of outdoor games.   ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION: *Your comfort during your stay is important to me but please be mindful about your electricity consumption. Electricity is not free (for hosts or the planet!). Please turn off the heating when you leave the cottage & turn it off/down during the night. Mining of bitcoin or other cryptocurrency will not be tolerated. * Note that we check guests' electricity consumption before we leave a guest review. If it is clearly excessive (for example, due to round-the-clock running of excessive heating or if the guest has been mining bitcoins), I will leave a 1-star review and a very clear public comment about excessive electricity consumption.
