Peaceful modern cottage near Southwell

Detached two bedroom modern cottage in Trent Valley village near Southwell, Notts. Very fast fibre WiFi! Discount for weekly bookings. Front and rear gardens with off street parking. Open fire in comfortable sitting room with starter pack of logs provided. Quiet, with lovely walks from the doorstep. Good village pub, playground 10 minutes walk away. Near Southwell and the river Trent is close by for pub and towpath walks. Superhost x 13, COVID accredited by AA and Visit England Ranmore is a spacious modern cottage that will sleep 4 comfortably. There is a garden, open fire, well equipped kitchen and dining area. There is off road parking outside for two cars. The cottage is for your exclusive use during your stay. Usually we ask guests to check in after 3pm on arrival, and check out by 10am on the last day. We live nearby so we can assist you if needed. Morton is a peaceful village within easy reach of Nottingham, Newark and Southwell. The Full Moon Inn does meals and has a lovely children's playground. There is another children's playground nearby. The River Trent is within walking distance with lovely towpath walks. The Bromley at Fiskerton is a good riverside pub serving food, with outside tables by the riverside. There is train service at Fiskerton - about 10 - 15 mins walk - that will take you to Nottingham, Newark and Lincoln. There is a bus from the village that will take you to Southwell or Newark, depending on the day of the week. There are also local buses to Mansfield and Newark from Fiskerton village. The property is in a rural location - the nearest shop is about 15 minutes walk away. Although it is possible to manage without a car by using local buses and the train service, this would take a bit of organisation and planning.
