The apartment was refurbished in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) to a high standard with WI, parking & a garden. We are in very quiet location, 5 minute walk from Pontefract centre. A central location for Leeds, Wakefield, Doncaster, York & is also in the north of England half way if you are travelling from Scotland to the south. Pontefract Racecourse is a short distance away. I also run the Pottery by the Apartment so have a go on a pottery wheel or paint a pot when you stay booking is essential. A lovely 2 bedroom apartment in a block of 4 with your own allocated off street parking, well light front door, garden and is on a private road so no road noise. It is very spacious and can sleep up to 6. The kitchen has all you would need to self-cater and has all your home comforts, as I have stayed at many airbnb's so knew exactly what I would want offer for your stay. All beds have mattress toppers for a great night sleep. In the kitchen we leave teas, coffee, milk, sugars, sweetener, Bread, homemade jam, boxed cereal, If you have other request just send a message. The Apartment is used only for airbnb so you won't be sharing your space. There is a small front garden and back garden with seating amongst the trees and two car parking spaces to the front of the apartment. I live opposite the apartment and run the pottery next to my home. I'm always on hand should you wish to call me or walk over to the pottery. Mill Hill lane is a quiet cul de sac we are at the very end of it. The lane is access to the apartments and pottery only so you wont have any traffic disturbing your stay. The surround area has cycle paths and lovely walks through wentbridge woods. Xscape and Junction 32 have all the shops you could want as well as a ski slope, large cinema and lots of food and entertainment areas. Pontefract race course is 5 minutes away. You could also delve into history and wander around the ruins of Pontefract Castle which was part of the war of the roses and mentioned in the film Braveheart. There is also a museum and tearoom at the castle. Pontefract town centre is 5 minutes walk and there are 3 train stations going to Leeds, York, Wakefield and Doncaster getting you to your destination in around 20 minutes. We also have a good bus route and great taxi services. The very spacious apartment has been newly decorated and has furnishings of a high standard. It has been set up like this for our guests to enjoy a 5* stay. A welcome pack is left with kitchen/ breakfast essentials, milk, bread, eggs, cereals for you to enjoy during stay and other little personal touches. Please note guest must be 25 or over.
