Sunny and friendly apartment in Wüstenrot. A very cozy place where you will feel like home. The apartment offers space for 2-4 persons. 1 bedroom with double bed (1,40 x 2,00m) and wardrobe, 1 living room with sofa (sofa bed), small corridor, bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a 2-plate stove (no oven) and a fridge. Shopping is less than a 10-minute walk away. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a family house. The entrance area is a small corridor. The apartment has a bedroom with double bed (1,40 x 2,00m) and wardrobe. The kitchen is equipped with a kitchenette (2-plate stove, fridge, sink), a dining table, sofa (folds out to a sofa bed) and TV (cable TV). The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and toilet. Cleanliness and hygiene are extremely important to us. This is also reflected in the ratings of our guests. Of course, we disinfect the apartment carefully before and after each stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. The bathroom has a hair dryer. A washing machine and a dryer can be used for a small fee. An oil central heating provides warm water and heating. Bed linen and towels are included, and Wi-Fi access is available free of charge. Parking for cars is available on the property. If we are not present in person at the time of your check-in, we will send the details to a key safe prior to your arrival. We are happy to give tips on restaurants, bars, vineyards and leisure in and around Wüstenrot and are also available at any time for any questions. Sprawled out between the Cities of Lorch, Oehringen, Backnang and Aalen lies the enchanted Schwabisch-Franken Nature Park Forest. In this nature park forest region, you can discover, experience and enjoy the wonders of its natural beautiful scenery, regional agriculture and its local products. Sightseeing expeditions and culture excursions for all seasons are available including "Brunch direct on the Farmhouse" as well as traditional German special events and festivals. There are many wonderful hiking trails that show traditional craft works like lumber mills, waterworks, etc. The Breitenauer Lake offers sunbathing and swimming in the summer. A favorite excursion is to visit the "Steinknickle" tower in the nearby town of Neuhuetten. The 30 meter tall wood tower was built in 1957 by the "Schwaebisch Alb" community. Walking up the stairs gives one an amazing view of the highest point in Wuestenrot. From atop looking out, you can see way out into the Weinsberger Valley and the Hohenlohe plains. On a clear day, you can even see way out to the "Oden" Forest. Looking eastward, you can see parts of the "Waldenburger" Mountains. To the south, you can see into the "Mainharter" Forest. Looking westward, you can see the "Loewensteiner" Mountains including mount Stocksberg. At the foot of the tower, there is a picnic area with a playground for children. About 150 meters below the tower, there is a nature friendly house named "Steinknickle" which was built in 1913 as the very first of its kind in Wuerttemburg. It is open year round and offers hospitality (restaurant,and overnight amenities) for hikers, campers and wanderers. From Steinknickle, you will also find well marked hiking trails that run all the way to the train stations of Heilbron, Obersulm-Eschingen, Oehringen and Sulzbach. In the Heilbronner Countryside and in the Loewensteiner mountains there are some superb wine tours to take in. if you'd like to taste the delicious wines of these areas, there are many traditional wineries open to the public with fresh farm food restaurants that give you a unforgettable wine tasting experience. Starting from early springtime until the late fall, there are splendid wine festivals and events in the tradition of this great wine area. A bus station is a 5-minute walk away, with buses to Heilbronn, Schwäbisch-Hall, Öhringen or Backnang. Next train station is Sulzbach / Murr. A cat is living in the house, but not in the aprt´ment itself. We allow dogs in the apartment, therefore people with a strong allergy should read this before the booking.
