Best suited to couples or one person. Superb village pub and restaurant, 1.5 miles. There are no shops within walking distance. NOTE: shower and basin in room, WC separate next door. Wood burning stove in room for those chillier months. NOTE: THERE IS ONLY PARKING FOR ONE CAR. NO VANS OR HORSEBOXES WITH THIS LISTING. This lovely room has been created from an old stable. It opens directly onto the courtyard. The room itself has as shower and basin, but the toilet is located next door. There is a small kitchenette next door, which is intended for preparing breakfast or a light snack. It is not equipped for cooking three course meals! But the village pub is superb. You have to go outside to reach both the toilet and kitchenette. Please see plan in photographs. You will be the only guest using these facilities. In the colder months the stove will be lit for your arrival. There is an initial supply of logs, if you require more you can purchase them on site for £10 per bag of 12 logs. You are welcome to take coffee or breakfast at the tables provided on the yard. For evening meals you are best to eat in one of the fabulous local eateries. The kitchenette has a camping hob, toaster and kettle. There is a very small oven under the hobs. It is not really intended for cooking a three course meal. I will meet you on your arrival, so please let me know what time that will be and ensure it is within the arrival window. Detailed directions on how to find us will be sent to you on confirmation of booking, please read them and make sure you can access them for your journey. Parking is tight if we are fully booked. There is no on street parking possible. Beautiful, quiet, rural. We are 1.5 miles from the Old Dalby village. We have no neighbours. There are no shops. The pub in the village is excellent, the kitchen there closes at 9.30. Hail and ride bus to Loughborough and Grantham on the main road, 200yds. This is not always guaranteed to stop. In reality you need a car. We have dogs who sometimes like to visit you. There is a peacock who can be quite noisy. This is a farm. WiFi is via a mifi box, it is weather dependent. You may need to use your mobile data, or failing that, you could just relax. There is no TV. There is only off road parking for one car. This is a self catering room.
