Central Village Location at the gateway to all areas of Yorkshire. Perfect for short or longer stays to get away from the hustle and bustle. Ideally located for those wishing to explore the region or for those attending events at one of the many nearby establishments hosting weddings and other events. The area is perfect for walkers and cyclists of all abilities. The Annxe is a modern self contained part of our home. It has a double bedroom, kitchen Living area with smart TV. The bathroom is a shower wet room, (No Bath). the Annexe is suitable for wheelchair access and use if required. There is free use of our wifi and Netflix! currently one double bedroom is available. However the second bedroom is currently under refurbishment Our Annex has its own private access to the rear, and there is ample free parking in front or at the side of the Annexe. The driveway and parking areas are gravelled. You will have full exclusive use of the Annexe during your stay. Your hosts will be on hand should you need anything while you are with them. Note the heating system is part of the main house system and there are thermostatic heat controls on each of the Annexe radiators. However the main system can only operated in the main house. your hosts will discuss your preferences with you. The Annexe is at the Heart of this quiet Village on the gateway to East Yorkshire. It is steeped in history dating back to Roman times. It is an excellent area for a quiet getaway. The whole area is well used by cyclists and it is very walking friendly as there are no hills for miles! There is a very limited bus service through the village and the nearest Railway station is in Snaith. Your own transport is probably required unless you are a keen walker. Your hosts are happy to offer limited Courtesy transport if able. Pollington Village sits on the cusp if all the four counties of Yorkshire and that makes it perfect for exploring the region. It is a working farming village with one or two other industrial premises nearby. It has a popular pub within 10 minutes walk which serves meals daily and has events such as regular quiz nights. there is no shop in the village however the nearby town of snaith has most things you might require. Upon request your hosts will provide essentials such as bread and milk etc which can be paid for upon arrival.
